This is my portfolio. It continues to grow and offer an ever-diverse selection of projects, so I encourage you to visit again.
What may surprise you is that I have a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan. While I love engineering challenges and working with my hands, I've also been a Mac-fanatic for twenty years. My family got the first Macintosh in 1984 when I was 7 and I've been hooked ever since. I've gradually been experimenting with Photoshop and building websites, then with Illustrator, and also with print media, 3D packaging, and typography.
While I did take a few classes in graphic design, most of my knowledge is from experience and trial and error. Many of my projects have been done for family or friends, sometimes for free. It gives me the freedom to try out new ideas and new software. I've learned a lot from books and experimenting on the computer and I write HTML code the old-fasioned way: with a text editor.
As part of the obligatory self-promotion, I offer my resume here for those who may wish to view it. It is downloadable in PDF format.
